I figured I’d break my silence by talking about an awesome client I’m doing some work for.

Mercy McNab is a Portland based photographer who creates phenomenal imagery. Her photography is exciting and inventive and her sense of style is evident in each picture. I love her portrait photography in particular. She has a real knack for reading her subjects’ personalities and infusing her photos with their unique characters. But her portrait photography is just my personal favorite. Her portfolio proves that she really can tackle any subject matter with skill and creativity. If you are looking to hire a photographer I would strongly recommend her.

It’s funny, I met her here in Portland but she’s actually from Indiana as well. Her dad was the superintendent of my high school. Just an interesting side note, a cool coincidence.

I was hanging out at Powell’s Beaverton store earlier today when I happened upon this copy of Phillip K. Dick’s Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch that reminded me a lot of my MSCE Day 3 creation. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s the same sort of aesthetic. Kind of a cool coincidence.

I may start it up again at some point in the future and I had a lot of fun with it, but at this point it would only take time away from other things I would like to get done.

For example:
-Updating this blog regularly with more content, less filler.
-Finishing my album that I am almost done with. – Complete
-Creating a new website at nearertonever.com to match the album. – Complete
-Start a new project, web based, unsure of what exactly yet. Complete

Look forward to exciting information, free fonts, desktop backgrounds, and more cool stuff in the future.
